Marketing Analyst Internship: Sage Telecom SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Marketing Director, the primary purpose of the Marketing Intern is to assist in the development and analysis of marketing. This is a part-time internship of approximately 20 hours per week. Hours are flexible and can be adjusted to the student's class schedule. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Requisition Marketing: - Assist in development and management of cost effective direct response marketing programs that maximize response rates. - Work with Director of Marketing on identification of region specific mass media advertising opportunities, development of region specific marketing plans and marketing execution. - Assist in development and management of product pricing and market positioning for all services. - Gather and analyze competitive information regarding product details and pricing for local, long distance, and other telecommunications services. - Assist in development of ideas for new products and services. Define the product/service and its market. Develop relevant collateral materials. Retention/Loyalty Marketing: - Assist with development and management of cost effective marketing programs that maximize customer loyalty and retention. - Assist in identification and monitoring of key drivers of customer loyalty. Other: - Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: - Strong analytical and quantitative skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Must be detail oriented; organized; must be able to manage several projects at the same time. - Must be self-motivated and extremely motivated to learn. - Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and build working relationships across company departments. EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE and OTHER REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in business or an upper level student working on a Bachelor's degree. - Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigration Act of 1986.
