Specifically, the Industry Risk-Based Services (IRBS) group helps clients both identify and respond to industry-specific business risks. IRBS offer industry-focused business risk services relating to process, controls, regulatory, information, financial, and operations. Responsibilities: * Assist and/or lead in the assessment, design, and development of technical requirements and business plans for leading utility organizations * Work with the client staff on a daily basis to redesign daily work processes * Provide timely and responsive value-added services and work products to clients * Monitor and provide performance feedback to staff level team members * Conduct research, support the development of project proposals, gather data, and assist in presenting engagement deliverables * Assist the Project Manager in the daily operation of projects Requirements: * Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business, Economics, or a related field from an accredited college/university; Master's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field from an accredited college/university is preferred * Minimum of two years of experience in the Utilities or Energy industry is required * Specific experience with utility performance improvement, finance transformation, and operations is essential * Must have excellent writing skills and strong verbal communication/presentation skills * Must have strong process, finance, accounting and/or technology skills * Risk management and control improvement * Financial process, financial forecasting process, utility billing system, process Improvement (i.e. revenue cycle), credit and collection process, utility settlement system, ERP system integration, revenue management, and/or business integration experience * Must have strong leadership and team motivation skills * Ability to work independently and analyze complex issues * Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis/modeling tools and packages * Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to meet demanding timelines * Significant travel will be required We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
