STATISTICAL ANALYST I

Provide statistical data, which will enhance the improved growth of the 
company and complies with mandatory regulatory requirements. Code, maintain 
and execute algorithms for
the extraction and presentation of data for standard and ad hoc reporting. 
Verify data in existing databases. Execute data analysis programming and 
data interpretation to guide
national and regional medical review and educational efforts. Assist in the 
use of statistical programming tools to identify utilization patterns and 
trends. Assist with sample selection
as well as the preparation of charts, illustrations, graphics and narrative 
reports.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
4-year degree in statistics or biostatistics, or a 4-year degree in a 
related field with at least nine semester hours in statistical courses, plus 
academic and/or professional statistical
programming experience, OR MS degree in statistics or biostatistics, or MS 
degree in a related field with at least 9 semester hours in statistical 
courses, plus academic and/or
professional statistical programming experience.

Work Experience:
Academic and/or professional data analysis experience REQUIRED and 
preferably in the health industry.
Experience with statistical software – UNIX desired as well as relational 
Database/SQL

Knowledge/Skill:
Possess basis statistical understanding
